This half term, join us at the Devon Guild Craft centre on 25th and 26th October for free family fun!. Become a crafty cook at our free making days with activities for all ages, based on the current exhibition, 'Plate Up'. Have fun modelling faux food for a spooky banquet… it may look good enough to eat - but don’t dare try it! Materials provided, donations welcomed. Under 12’s supervised please. Part of the Family Arts and Family Learning Festival.

10.30am-12.30 & 1.30-4pm both days.

Australian Mike Jackson will bring his unique ukulele teaching skills to Musicrooms across the country this month - and will be in Exeter on Saturday (11 March).

Mike will be giving free uke lessons to children and adults in store between 11am and 2pm, with a promise that anyone can play the instrument in half an hour.

The author of 10 Uke ‘N Play books and with 37 albums to his name, Mike has been playing and teaching uke for over 60 years.

On 7th December Exeter City Futures held its Challenge Definition Workshop to synthesise insights, comments, and discussion from Exeter City Futures Community. FORMER Exeter Chiefs rugby star turned farmer, Rich Baxter joined a special sausage-making and butchery workshop at a city butchers last week.

Customers and suppliers were invited to the event, which was held at Burrow Farm’s St Thomas butchers shop, Courtney’s.
