Our 8 part comedy workshop, 'An introduction to stand-up comedy' will guide you through your first steps in the stand-up comedy world.

The workshop will help to develop and blend together the unique material, style and persona of each participant as they produce a short and tight set of stand-up comedy. Over the eight sessions you will explore a range of essential comedic performance skills and techniques and build confidence and self-awareness within the performance space.

This workshop will facilitate the development of spoken word artists and poets within a performance setting. Project to boost numbers of women in politics runs WOW Exeter workshop

A project to get more women running for political office will be running workshops at the WOW Women of the World Festival, Exeter this weekend on 13th & 14th October at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum.

The Parliament Project is a non-partisan initiative that seeks to inspire, empower and encourage women to run for political office in the UK. It runs information and skills building events and offers peer networking to support women to get elected. Since summer 2016 the Parliament Project has delivered workshops to over 2,000 women in Scotland and England.

Half-term craft making days: Fearsome Feasts

This half term, join us at the Devon Guild Craft centre on 25th and 26th October for free family fun!. Become a crafty cook at our free making days with activities for all ages, based on the current exhibition, 'Plate Up'. Have fun modelling faux food for a spooky banquet… it may look good enough to eat - but don’t dare try it! Materials provided, donations welcomed. Under 12’s supervised please. Part of the Family Arts and Family Learning Festival.
