Complaints process

How to complain

If you are unhappy with anything published on the Exeter Daily or any of its associated Daily sites in the first instance, please contact the editor:

Mary Youlden 7A Chudleigh Rd, Alphington, Exeter EX2 8TS or mary@thedailyuk.com.

We will do our utmost to resolve your complaint or dispute in a timely manner. We generally acknowledge your correspondence within one working day and aim to provide a fuller response within three working days.

We endeavour to maintain the highest editorial standards and if we get things wrong, we apologise. We take further action depending on the seriousness of the complaint however, sometimes we don't agree with the complainant, even after reviewing the situation. In that eventuality, readers can choose to raise the issue with Editorial Director Marc Astley who is not involved on a day-to-day basis.

Complaints about adverts should be made to the Advertising Standards Authority.
