¡Viva! Spanish & Latin American Festival

After a 10-year hiatus, the ¡Viva! Tour of UK cinemas is back, with the support of the BFI, awarding funds from The National Lottery. 

The UK’s largest and most popular celebration of Spanish and Latin American culture which celebrates 25 years of cross-border creativity, collaborations and partnerships in 2019 will be bringing the best new cinema from Spain and Spanish-speaking Latin America to cinemas nationwide.

Graffiti art meets contemporary craft in a bold new exhibition opening this spring at Devon Guild of Craftsmen. This exhibition will challenge perceptions of graffiti writing culture, whilst expanding traditional definitions of art, craft and design.

Masters of Invention brings together a new collection of artworks and installations by influential figures from the culture of graffiti writing over the past 40 years, all emerging from the youth-led cultures of punk and hip-hop, all sharing a dedication to honing their craft through multi-disciplinary practice.

<p>Running from the 20th-22nd of May the international, three-day Pint of Science festival will see thousands of scientists simultaneously bringing their research out of the lab to share with the public in over 300 cities across 24 countries. Founded seven years ago by two UK researchers, the festival brings a unique line up of talks, demonstrations and live experiments to the nation’s favourite locals. New for 2019 is the festival theme “What Next?” – we’ll be posing this critical question to researchers working across a huge range of scientific disciplines.</p>

Circus Starr return with their annual visit and they’re ready to make a difference with their Big Top extravaganza. The not for profit circus are different to any other in the UK, and promise that each show will be accessible, inclusive and fun!

Thanks to support from local businesses in the area, the community interest company are able to offer 1000 free tickets to vulnerable and disabled children to come along and make life long memories with their families or carers.

'Colours of the Wind' Flower Festival

The Crediton Parish Church Flower Festival is one of the main fundraising events for the upkeep of Holy Cross and many people from our parishes work to make it a very special and memorable week.

Work towards the 2019 Flower Festival began as soon as the 2018 Festival ended.
