Summer Craft Clubs

The Devon Guild craft centre in Bovey Tracey is offering free drop-in craft activities every Wednesday morning (24 July - 28 August) during the summer holidays. All sessions are 10am – 12.30 pm and there is no need to book; just pop in and join in the making fun! See below for details of our weekly making mornings:

24 July 10am – 12.30pm PomStitchTassel textiles workshop Pom-pom pencil toppers. Learn how to make a pom-pom and then create it into a weird and wonderful pencil topper.

31 July 10am – 12.30pm Michelle Greenwood Brown - mosaic workshop. Decorate a ceramic tile with jewel-like glass mosaic pieces of different sizes and colours.

7 August 10am – 12.30pm Julian Surtees - 'brickideas' Lego workshop Build houses, streets, shops and skyscrapers; transform the gallery!

14 August 10am – 12.30pm Alysa Freeman - badge making workshop Make funky badges from recycled materials!

21 August 10am – 12.30pm Julian Surtees 'brickideas' Lego workshop Build hand and power tools; transform the gallery into a workshop!

28 August 10am – 12.30pm Anna Trussler - Festival Headdress workshop Create your own fun summer festival headdress - craft some funky horns or furry ears!

All our summer activities are free to take part in but we welcome a contribution to our costs – there is a donation pot for you to contribute to in the gallery.
