The Creative Craft Show returns to Exeter this September
From families and friends to Olympian Tom Daley, the world of craft has attracted many new enthusiasts over the last 18 months and ICHF Events’ Creative Craft Show, returning to Exeter’s Westpoint Arena from Thursday 23rd– Sunday 26th September, has something for everyone.
From sewing, felting and papercraft to knitting and jewellery making, the Creative Craft Show brings the hottest new supplies and latest trends to die hard crafters and newcomers alike in the South West.
Hand-crocheted SMILES with a message are being posted in and around Exeter to improve the mental wellbeing of the city’s residents during these last weeks of the nation’s lockdown.
During a time when support networks are cut short and coping strategies might not be possible, The Makers Group from the Exeter’s art charity organicARTS recognise that people’s mental health is suffering and are striving to spread smiles across the city as an antidote to their anxiety.

The Devon Guild craft centre in Bovey Tracey is offering free drop-in craft activities every Wednesday morning (24 July - 28 August) during the summer holidays. The Summer Show is the longest running Devon Guild exhibition, launched in 1955 to celebrate the skills and original work of long-standing Guild Members through to the newest faces. High quality local art and craft will be on sale at the biggest-ever Upton Pyne Craft Fair which is to be held in the village hall and church on Saturday 17 November.
The fair takes place between 12 noon and 4pm, entry is free, and coffee, cakes, light lunches and afternoon teas with be available. The hall and church are in the centre of the village, a mile off the Crediton road just outside Exeter.
