Chiefs report 11% increase in season ticket sales

Exeter Chiefs chairman Tony Rowe OBE says it's testament to the 'fantastic backing' the club receive from its loyal supporters that season ticket sales have risen again ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Ahead of what will be the Devon club's ninth year in the Gallagher Premiership, the Chiefs have recorded a 11% increase in season ticket sales compared to last season.

Moray Low says he’s ‘excited’ about the year ahead after agreeing terms on a new one-year contract with the Exeter Chiefs.

The Scottish international will take his stay at Sandy Park into a fifth year, having moving to the Premiership outfit from former club Glasgow Warriors in 2014.

Seventy-five female students from Exeter College were treated to a training session with the Bristol Ladies Rugby Team, as part of Tyrrells’ ongoing initiative to inspire more girls to get into rugby. Poppy Leitch, Caity Mattinson and Clara Nielson, who play for Bristol Ladies and England, hosted the workshop alongside Tyrrells, coaching and supporting students on Monday evening. Exeter Chiefs forward Sam Simmonds has been named the ‘Land Rover Discovery of The Season’ for the 2017/18 season, at this year’s Aviva Premiership Rugby awards.

The Land Rover Discovery of the Season award recognises the most impressive young player in Aviva Premiership Rugby each season and rewards them for their outstanding contribution to the competition.

Nominees for the award had to be 23 years old or younger on 1st September 2017, and have played at least eight Aviva Premiership Rugby matches this season and not received full international caps prior to 2017....
