Most often, if not always, people turn to food when they are feeling down or just stressed out. While bingeing on comfort food is not a very good idea, eating the right kind of food is actually a great and effective one. After all, the right foods can actually change your brain chemistry and give you a sense of calm and happiness. How is that possible?

Any book with the title "Jerusalem" is a challenge for both authors and readers, given the complexities, misrepresentations and confusing images inherent in that city. For the visitor, first impressions of Jerusalem, perhaps to do with the light or the architecture, give way to questions, about the different cultures and their histories, and then on to concerns about how these cultures mix (or rather, don't) particularly the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis. Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education chooses fresh food after horse meat revelations

The Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education has responded to the news that one of its catering suppliers, Sodexo, has found traces of horse meat in one of its frozen beef products, by saying: "Of the 80 products recalled as a precaution by Sodexo, the Deaf Academy only uses four, and we have immediately removed them from our kitchens.

NFU President secures role as EU food chain chairman

Farmers and co-operatives from across the EU have endorsed NFU President Peter Kendall for a further two year term as Chairman of the Copa-Cogeca Food Chain Working Party to represent all EU farming unions.
