Brain injury survivors in the city now have access to top-of-the-range IT facilities thanks to the generosity of the Exeter Foundation.

The Foundation, which supports a range of charities in the Exeter area, made a donation towards Headway Devon's day centre in Exeter, enabling the charity to invest in a brand new computer hub for the use of the people with brain injuries who attend the centre. South West Communications Group’s directors Sarah Flowers and Brian Lodge have returned from climbing 5,500 metres to one of the peaks of the Annapura range in the Himalayas to raise more than £3,000 for the Exeter Foundation

Cyclists donate over £6000 to Foundation

Over £6,000 has been raised for the Exeter Foundation by a group of nine cyclists, who cycled approximately 300 miles around the borders of Devon.

The Tomahawk Tour raised a total of £12,271, which has been split between the Exeter Foundation and Exeter Youth Rugby.

Foundation XV member South West Communications Group (swcomms) played a major role in the Tomahawk Tour, which took place between the 3rd and 6th of September.

Exeter Chiefs are throwing their sizeable weight behind the forthcoming ‘Exeter Foundation Charity Walk’ which has been set up to support a minimum of 20 local charities and organisations.

The annual 10-mile sponsored walk, which will start and finish at Sandy Park, takes in a flat and scenic route around the River Exe Valley and is open to keen or social walkers, who are aged 12 years or over.

Tickets are now on sale for the Devon Sports Awards 2013.

This is the tenth year the event has been staged by Active Devon and it promises to be the biggest and best yet.

Registration now open for the 2013 Exeter Business Games

Following the huge success of the 2012 Exeter Business Games , businesses in Exeter are being encouraged to register for the 2013 Games.

24 teams from Exeter-based businesses took part in the 2012 games and with matched funding from Thomson Reuters, this year’s participants raised over £5000 for local charity The Exeter Foundation .
