Chris Linton, Partner at Wollen Michelmore Solicitors, is hoping that Friday 13th May is lucky for him and more importantly for raising money for Children’s Hospice South West.

As one of eight local business people, Chris is participating in an event called Jail and Bail where all accused parties will be put on trial at Exeter Castle before being banished to their cells and the only way he can be released is if he raises the bail of £999, all for the benefit of Children’s Hospice South West.

Nine well known members of the business community are going to be ‘jailed’ on Friday 13th May at Exeter Castle and will have to raise a bail of £999 for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) in order to be released. Each ‘prisoner’ has been charged with a fictitious crime and they will be held at the castle until they raise their bail money. Heart FM joins the Rainbow Run party

Heart FM in the South West has signed up as the official media partner for Children’s Hospice South West’s 25th Anniversary Rainbow Run to be held on June 11 at Exeter Racecourse.

Children's Hospice SW needs your vote!

Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is in need of your vote this week as the charity has been shortlisted to win a pot of funding to pay for its project: ‘Time to Play’.

The People’s Projects gives the public the chance to have a say in how Lottery funding is spent in their community through an online vote. Exeter to Paris in four days!

A team from Carling Technologies in Exeter is training hard for their charity cycle ride from Exeter to Paris – all in support of Children’s Hospice South West.

The ride will take place from the 27 – 30 May and the team has set themselves a target of raising £50k for the hospice which cares for children, and their families, who are not expected to live until adulthood.

Taste of the West takes up the challenge for CHSW

Exeter based Taste of the West, the South West’s regional food group, has signed up for Children’s Hospice South West’s £50 challenge in a double celebration of not only its own anniversary, but also 25 years of the charity.
