Hospiscare has paired up with local solicitors who are giving up their time for free, to offer people the chance to have a professionally written Will for free so that they can make a donation to charity instead.

There are 30 local solicitors taking part in Will Writing Fortnight between 12th and 23rd May, helping people to plan for the future. Around 50 people a year leave a gift to Hospiscare in their Will. Hospiscare relies on gifts in Wills to safeguard the care of its patients in the future.

Bring colour and life back to Mondays

What happenend in 1966?

No, not the Battle of Hastings ... or winning the Worldcup ... but the Mamas and Papas first sang ... Every other day of the week is fine, yeah, but whenever Monday comes, you can find me crying all of the time ... Not a sentiment I share although a cracking song to sing. Infact a number of songs feature Monday, often as a day of melancholy. For example, Rainy Days and Mondays (1971) from the Carpenters, I Don't Like Mondays (1979) from the Boomtown Rats, and Manic Monday (1986) from the Bangles.
