Firefighters attend car fire in Dawlish

Firefighters were called to Elm Close in Dawlish last night ( Saturday 24th May) due to a severe car fire.

On arrival, at 6.57pm, crew found the car to be well alight.

Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to put the fire out. Crews also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
