Exeter's indies put themselves firmly on the map

As you head down the High Street it is easy to forget that along some of the side streets, and even hidden in amongst the big names in Princesshay, are some marvellous outlets with pretty, unusual and unique gifts, just waiting to be discovered.

Zombies storm Princesshay for ghoulish stomp

Following a successful invasion last year , another horde of Zombies invaded Exeter today. Starting in Sidwell Street they rampaged through Princesshay and greeted a Samba band with ghoulish enthusiasm; they then moved on to Cathedral Green through the High Street and eventually gathered at The Phoenix Arts Centre on Gandy Street.

Independent retailers magic up a 'Christmas Crawl' map

A group of Exeter Independent Retailers have got together to create a 'Christmas Shopping Crawl' based on the model put forward by the Independent Retailers Month UK, to encourage shoppers to do their Christmas shopping in Independent shops and experience the unique and exciting products they offer as well as fabulous customer service.

Princesshay Centre Management are promising a huge party atmosphere for the Princesshay Christmas light switch-on – complete with top entertainment from some household names.
