Last week, national children’s charity CHICKS challenged local Exeter businesses to compete in their Superstar Games. A first for the charity, the games were held in Princesshay in Exeter City Centre and sponsored by Ashley House Printing, with teams headed up by Smart Estate Agents, Attention Media, KTA, Air Marketing and a mixed team of people from various businesses. The teams went head to head in classic heats of the three-legged race, egg and spoon, obstacle course and a Shrek-themed relay in an effort to raise local awareness and funds for the Devon-based charity.
Local artist Leo Jamelli has collaborated with the University of Exeter to create a piece of emotional public artwork to be displayed in City Centre.
The large-scale artwork, created to celebrate carers, will be shown between 8.00pm and Midnight on both 20th and 21st September. It will appear on the historic St Catherine's Almshouse, on the site of the iconic ruin in the Princesshay shopping precinct.

Then head to Princesshay Green where you can have a go on a mobile rock climbing wall. The wall will be manned by 2 qualified instructors who will talk you through the steps to make it to the top!

For those who like to keep their feet firmly on the ground there will be Hula Hoop Spintacular workshops taking place at intervals during the day. Angie will be spinning into action at 11:00, 12:30 and 2:00pm.

From the 31st July – 23rd August, Princesshay Square will be transformed into Princesshay Green with a series of free family fun pop up events every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. From climbing walls to mini golf and dinosaurs, a different activity will pop up each week to keep families and shoppers entertained during the upcoming school holidays.

Princesshay is bringing Wimbledon to Exeter with live outdoor screenings of matches on the giant screen. The screen will be in Princesshay Square for the duration of the legendary two-week tournament (Monday 1st July – Sunday 14th July 2019).

Princesshay has announced Living Options Devon as its charity of the year for 2019. The Devon-based charity works to ensure that people with disabilities and Deaf people have the opportunity to live the life they choose.

Princesshay has announced a planned refurbishment of its toilets.
The Princesshay toilets in Catherine Square will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from 28th January 2019. Alternative facilities will be available for customers close by in Catherine Street.

FORCE Cancer Charity has announced that more than £10,000 has been raised through fundraising activities and events in Princesshay, as the centre’s nominated charity of the year for 2018.
