Improved toilets for Princesshay

Princesshay has announced a planned refurbishment of its toilets.

The Princesshay toilets in Catherine Square will be temporarily closed for refurbishment from 28th January 2019. Alternative facilities will be available for customers close by in Catherine Street.

Princesshay also provides the only Changing Places toilet in the city centre, providing facilities with extra equipment and space to meet the needs of all people with a disability. Force raises thousands as Princesshay's charity of the year

FORCE Cancer Charity has announced that more than £10,000 has been raised through fundraising activities and events in Princesshay, as the centre’s nominated charity of the year for 2018.

Throughout 2018, Princesshay and FORCE have worked together to raise vital funds and awareness for the charity. Princesshay donated all proceeds from its Arctic Adventure and City Bee honey sales and members of the Princesshay security team completed a challenging 70 mile walk in 24 hours to raise funds for FORCE, walking from Dorchester to Princesshay last July. Access to two city centre car parks is changing

Access to two city centre car parks is changing later this month to facilitate highways works necessary for the redevelopment of Exeter Bus Station.

From Thursday 24 January, vehicles will no longer be able to access the main Princesshay car park and the Princesshay 3 Broadwalk House car park from Paris Street.

Instead, access will be from Southernhay, via Magdalen Street and Southernhay West, or Western Way and Barnfield Road.

Vehicles will continue to be able to exit via Paris Street.

Access to Princesshay 2 Dix’s Field car park is unaffected.

Princesshay has announced five top street performance acts to appear at its late-night shopping Thursdays. The illuminated entertainment will bring the centre to life with jaw-dropping displays throughout the holidays.

On Thursday 6th December, Spark!, the outstanding drumming light up show is back for a second year and will be performing throughout the centre at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm.

Princesshay and Reiss hosted an exclusive VIP event on Thursday night for regional media and bloggers to celebrate the start of Christmas in Exeter. The event included an evening of fashion, beauty, fizz and canapes courtesy of Lloyd’s Lounge, along with a festive styling session from Reiss’ store manager, Helena Paterson. Coca-Cola truck returns to Exeter

Holidays are coming to Exeter once again this year, when the iconic Coca-Cola Truck arrives in Princesshay on Saturday 10th November at 12pm. Bedford Street will play host to the famous red lorry for the entire weekend for fans to get the ultimate seasonal selfie in front of the illuminated vehicle.

The 6.5m-long 13 tonne truck is illuminated by 8,772 fairy lights and marks the countdown to Christmas for many people.

Princesshay captures Christmas magic at late night shopping experiences

Princesshay has announced five top street performance acts to appear at its late-night shopping Thursdays.

The illuminated entertainment will bring the centre to life with jaw-dropping aerial acrobatics from Heliosphere and the incredible light-up drummers, Spark.

The festivities kick off on the first of the late night shopping events on Thursday 22nd November. The full line up is as follows:
