Princesshay to host Wimbledon Big Screen

Live outdoor screenings of Wimbledon matches on a giant screen will take place in Princesshay Square for the duration of the legendary two-week tournament (Monday 2nd July – Sunday 15th July).

Princesshay will also provide deckchairs, bean bags and a temporary lawn for visitors to enjoy while watching the matches free of charge.

Summer games, including giant jenga, noughts and crosses and connect 4 will be set up daily for families to enjoy. Visitors can sit and enjoy prime court matches from 1pm, with the finals days starting at 2pm.

Princesshay has launched its charity car raffle to raise vital funds for its charity of the year, FORCE Cancer Charity, based in Exeter. Visitors to Princesshay will be able to purchase a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning a Toyota Aygo XPlay worth more than £10,500.

Children’s hospice charity benefits from wheel deal

Shopping for a friend’s birthday present at Princesshay Shopping Centre in Exeter generated a lovely surprise for the giver – a new vehicle worth nearly £24,000.

Gina, 45, a customer service advisor from Exmouth, paid £2 for the Children’s Hospice South West’s charity draw, with the Toyota C-HR donated by Snows Toyota in Exeter.

Day of spring celebrations in Princesshay

Princesshay has announced a free community event to celebrate the arrival of spring in the city. The Hello Spring event on Friday 6th April will feature spectacular street entertainment, a vintage carousel, live music and a style and beauty area. The event, which runs from 11-3pm, will see a large interactive art installation, Pentagon, go up in the main square. The installation, a stunning free-standing pentagon, is covered in attention-grabbing hand drawn cartoons. FORCE launches new partnership with Princesshay

FORCE Cancer Charity is all set to launch a new partnership with one of Exeter’s most iconic shopping and dining destinations.

FORCE has been chosen as Princesshay’s Charity of the Year for 2018.

The new link will be launched on Thursday February 1 when FORCE will be in Princesshay to promote the work that it does to support anyone locally affected by cancer.

Representatives from the charity will be there from 10am to 4pm.

Thousands raised for Princesshay’s charity of the year

Princesshay has announced it has raised more than £17,000 for its charity of the year, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

A car raffle in partnership with Snows Toyota & Lexus Exeter raised over £11,200 alone for the charity, with the winning ticket drawn on 23rd December of the brand new car.

Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is hosting a Christmas event to help raise funds for the charity – which is the chosen charity of Princesshay for 2017 – with a host of fun events and entertainment on Friday 15 December.

Shoppers can enjoy some fantastic festive entertainment including:

British Heart Foundation 'communi-tree’ event

Staff and volunteers from the British Heart Foundation were joined by some special helpers from St Michael’s Church of England Primary Academy and law firm Michelmores to decorate one of the 35 Christmas trees donated to charities for the Charity Christmas Tree Festival in Roman Walk, Exeter.
