They're big, they're bright and they are different but what do you think to the Princesshay Christmas baubles?

Are they tacky or an inspired art installation?

The best idea will win an Exeter Daily t-shirt. Perfect for a Christmas stocking filler!

The day's delay in the Christmas lights switch on just seemed to add to the air of anticipation this evening, when the people of Exeter came out in force to kickstart Christmas and watch the evening's performers.

And they were not to be disappointed. The evening started with a swing with music from the Exeter University Jazz Orchestra, closely followed by an impressive performance from Exeter-born singer-songwriter Chris Ostler.

Along with appearances from big names such as The Voice star Adam Isaac - sporting an Exeter City FC shirt - the Lympstone...

Zombies storm Princesshay for ghoulish stomp

Following a successful invasion last year , another horde of Zombies invaded Exeter today. Starting in Sidwell Street they rampaged through Princesshay and greeted a Samba band with ghoulish enthusiasm; they then moved on to Cathedral Green through the High Street and eventually gathered at The Phoenix Arts Centre on Gandy Street.

The fun did not stop there, though, as the ghoulish Halloween Zombie Ball continued into the night, with Exeter's Phoenix transformed with visuals and decor to make the zombies feel at home for a night of gruesome shenanigans and Halloween-themed...

Win a pair of Joules wellies

If you are brave enough to venture forth into the sometimes torrential rain, by heading to Princesshay this autumn you will be sure to pick up the latest trendy boot, the welly.

Who would have thought that trendy and welly could go next to each other in the same sentence? With autumn finally upon us it is indeed time to get out those boots that most ‘trendy’ people dread wearing.

In 2014 the welly really did come back with a bang with London Fashion Week seeing the Hunter welly hitting the catwalks along with their new water-resistant clear smocks. As well as Hunter,...
