The Exeter PA Network gives local PA's 'Time to Shine'

The Exeter PA Network – the only group of its kind for the city is hosting its latest career enhancing event 'Time to Shine' on 25 June 2015.

Established in 2012 as a professional networking group for PA's, executive assistants, secretaries and admin support staff in the Exeter area, the group's growing success has seen it welcome over 500 members – with links to PA Networks in both Bristol and Plymouth and a wide range of morning, evening and weekend events to give everyone opportunity to attend.

Michelmores LLP has announced the launch of YangTze Law − the UK's first wholly Chinese-owned law firm. YangTze Law has been set up as an Alternative Business Structure, following approval from the Solicitors Regulation Authority, to serve the needs of a new generation of mainland Chinese corporates looking to invest in the UK and Europe.

Malcolm Dickinson, Managing Partner at Michelmores, has been appointed as its CEO, and will work alongside the Chinese management team. He will continue to fulfil his role as Managing Partner at Michelmores.

Last call for entries for the Michelmores Charity Run 2015

There's still time to enter the Michelmores Charity Run, taking place on Thursday 11 June 2015 at 7pm and fundraising in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Starting the race is ultra-marathon runner Kevin Carr, from Woolacombe, who circumnavigated the globe running 16,300 miles in a record breaking 621 days.

Setting off from Devon in July 2013, Kevin is also the first person to run around the world solo and unsupported, traversing deserts, high-altitude mountain passes and arctic climes – taking in five continents.

The winners of the 2015 Michelmores Property Awards have been announced – showcasing the very best of the South West's property and construction industry.

Three building projects in Exeter are celebrated in the winners list, including Exeter Mathematics School, Samuel Jones Smoke & Ale House, and residential development, Holland Park.

Michelmores LLP has appointed four new Partners and three new Associates at its Exeter and London offices – bringing the Firm's partnership to 62.

Three years after its launch, the Exeter PA Network has experienced strong growth, highlighting an appetite amongst PAs and support staff for training and development.

As the only group of its kind in the city, the Network fills the gap left by recession led training budget cuts – providing regular events with the specific aim of increasing opportunities for career development and networking.

Exeter law firm Michelmores is calling for runners to get involved in its annual charity run, taking place on Thursday 11 June 2015 at 7pm and fundraising in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Now in its 16th year, the Michelmores Charity Run attracts over 1,000 runners, covering a 5km city course starting in the heart of Exeter at the Cathedral Green and finishing at Exeter Castle.

From experienced runners to fun runners in fancy dress, all are welcome. Last year, first place went to Gwylym Gibson, who covered the course in 16 minutes 2 seconds.

The South West's largest corporate charity run organised by Exeter law firm Michelmores, is calling for sponsors to boost fundraising in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Now in its 16th year, the Michelmores Charity Run attracts 1,000 runners and raises in excess of £20,000 for a chosen charity. The run, which will take place on Thursday 11 June 2015, covers a 5K city course starting in the heart of Exeter at Cathedral Green, finishing at Exeter Castle.
