Michael Caines has unveiled plans to open Mickeys Beach Bar and Restaurant alongside Sylvain Peltier and Michael’s Café Patisserie Glacerie as part of the Exmouth seafront regeneration project. With sweeping views across the coastline, the launch will be a landmark opening for the Michael Caines Collection as they open a casual bar complete with resident weekend DJs, first floor destination restaurant with a glasshouse and outdoor terraces alongside neighbouring Café Patisserie Glacerie set to serve artisan pastries and ice-creams.

Acclaimed chef restaurateur and hotel owner, Michael Caines has announced the appointment of Liam Finnegan as Group Executive Chef of the Michael Caines Collection as of 8th September 2020. The news follows Michael’s recent acquisition of former Rick Stein Restaurant in Porthleven, Cornwall.

With a working relationship spanning 14 years, Liam’s appointment is a natural fit for Michael and the wider collection, following an eight-year stint as Head Chef at The Castle Hotel Taunton and prior to that under Michael’s tutelage at Gidleigh Park.
