Hospiscare is celebrating after raising £109,000 during a decade of the hugely popular Charity Golf Tournament held in Exeter.
A total of 46 teams, mainly from Exeter but also from all over the country, played in glorious sunshine at the Exeter Golf and Country Club. Tickets are selling fast for the Devon Wine and Music Festival with Exeter singer/songwriter Adam Isaac headlining the September event.
As well as local bands playing there will be dozens of Devon wines to taste from six vineyards and great food from local suppliers and local crafts.

A RECORD £26,510 has been raised by an Exeter Sainsbury’s store for Hospiscare.
Fundraising efforts over two years included: tin collections, car boots, plant sales, a fashion show, floral sales, book and Christmas card recycling, a Christmas hamper, Easter egg competition and a sky dive.

Two friends are taking on the challenge of cycling from Exeter to Paris (via Roscoff) to raise funds for local charity Hospiscare. Leif Tarry and Dave Clift will set off from the hospice in Dryden Road tomorrow (Friday 16 May) on the start their 525 mile challenge.

More than 350 women from Exeter, mid and east Devon enjoyed a walk along the seaside town of Exmouth Seafront on May 10 in support of Hospiscare, their local hospice charity.
