Exmouth resident, Michael Griffin held a James Bond-style party at the Exmouth Pavilion on Saturday 20 April. Both volunteer Deputy Coxswains from Exmouth RNLI were invited to help raise money towards their latest appeal.

When Michael started planning his 60th birthday party, fundraising for the charity that saves lives at sea played a key part. Calling all cake fans - Help for Heroes’ annual Colossal Cake Sale is upon us again.

This year the Colossal Cake sale is supported by celebrity chef James Tanner and talk show host Lorraine Kelly.

This wonderful collaboration between Eggs for Soldiers and Help for Heroes is now in its second year and will be setting alight our taste buds.

Exeter Blitz DVD raises money for St Loye’s Foundation Transitions Programme

Following a successful launch in Princesshay Square last May, a DVD on the Bombing of Exeter has been on sale helping to raise money for St Loye’s Foundation.

Following almost a year’s worth of sales, the team behind the DVD proudly presented a cheque of nearly £300 to the St Loye’s Foundation Transitions Fund.

Headway Devon are holding a second-hand book sale at our offices in Exeter to raise money for local people with brain injuries.

The sale will take place on Wednesday 17th April from 2pm-7.30pm and offers a great range of modern and classic fiction, non-fiction and autobiography, cookery and children's books.

Teas, coffees and homemade biscuits will also be available to buy.
