Work includes jewellery, sculpture, textiles, taxidermy and photography, alongside historical artefacts lent by Plymouth Council Arts and Heritage, illustrating how artists are influenced by materials historically used to decorate and adorn.

Rime Friday & Saturday, Nothcott Theatre, Exeter Exeter Northcott Theatre’s Young Company re-launches with this re-imagining of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Following a week long residency exploring the themes of Coleridge’s classic work, the young actors combine the original text with physical theatre techniques to present a version of the poem which speaks to them as 21st Century teenagers. https://exeternorthcott.co.uk/

Devon Art Society Summer Exhibition under way

The Devon Art Society´s big summer exhibition is being held at St. Annes Hall, Babbacombe.

There are hundreds of paintings on display. The artists are showing new works covering classical themes such as floral, still-life, figurative and landscape as well as seascape subject matters and some abstracts too.

The Devon Art Society of Torquay has a long tradition of exhibiting and selling high quality paintings since 1912 when some of the greatest artists of their times we among the founder members.

Crediton is getting ready for a new visitor.

The team at Crediton Parish Church have to produce new themes and ideas each year, which will work as an exhibition with flowers. This year's Crediton Parish Church Flower Festival theme is no exception.

Intriguingly entitled 'What's the Point...', the team will be coaxing a rhino into church, with our outside broadcast crew taking photos and video from a safe distance.
