Seventy-five female students from Exeter College were treated to a training session with the Bristol Ladies Rugby Team, as part of Tyrrells’ ongoing initiative to inspire more girls to get into rugby. Poppy Leitch, Caity Mattinson and Clara Nielson, who play for Bristol Ladies and England, hosted the workshop alongside Tyrrells, coaching and supporting students on Monday evening. Exeter College has been awarded its largest ever single contract under the new Apprenticeship Levy to deliver leadership training for managers at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E).

Chinese teachers from Shanghai visited Exeter College in a mutually beneficial exchange visit, under an international partnership.

Two experienced teachers, Sun (Harry) Qianzhi and Zhijing (Joey) Zhang, from the world- class Shanghai Information Technology College spent an intensive two weeks undertaking tailored teacher masterclasses and observing teachers at Exeter College, ranked Ofsted ‘Outstanding’.

The Chinese teachers studied an Introduction to Inclusive Teaching and Learning qualification, accredited by City & Guilds.

More than 60 employers inspired the next generation at the recent Apprenticeship Expo 2018 hosted at Exeter College, on behalf of the South West Apprenticeship Ambassador Network.

Now in its fourth year, the Apprenticeship Expo was the biggest event to take place in the South West during National Apprenticeship Week (5th - 11th March 2018).

Exeter College has held its annual awards celebrating the achievements of exceptional apprentices and their employers.

More than 160 apprentices, employers, civic and business leaders, friends and family attended the glittered awards ceremony, sponsored by law firm Foot Anstey.

Exeter College students have won the prestigious Bristol Grammar School Model United Nations (MUN) best delegation title for the fourth year in a row, cementing the college’s reputation as one of the leading debating and diplomacy team in the South West.

Exeter College today announced that a record breaking 24 students are holding offers to study at Oxford and Cambridge starting in 2018. A total of 17 students have been offered places at Oxford and seven at Cambridge in a diverse range of subjects from Medicine to Law.
