The exceptional achievements of students at Exeter College have been celebrated at a glittering awards ceremony.

A total of 27 winners were named from across Devon and beyond, highlighting the wider geographical reach of the college, at the Exeter College Annual Student Awards. The winners were joined by friends and family, together with sponsors, community and business leaders.

Stand out Apprentice Joe Snow of Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club has been selected to play in the England under 20s squad. 19 year old Joe has been part of the prestigious Exeter Rugby Club Academy & Exeter College Apprentice scheme for the past 2 years.

The Apprenticeship scheme that Exeter College offers is an ideal arrangement for Joe who can still achieve his Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence whilst training, playing at the club and gaining invaluable experience.

Exeter College named best in country for second year in a row

Exeter College has, for a second consecutive year, been placed at the top in an annual league table of colleges published by FE Week, a leading publication focused on the further education sector.

Exeter College raises a record breaking £21k for local charity

Students and staff at Exeter College have raised more than £21,000 for local charity Devon Air Ambulance Trust – the most ever raised for a college charity.

In total, they have raised an amazing £21,313 since September 2016, far exceeding their target of £15,000. It has been a whole college effort with a wide variety of events taking place including the annual Festival of Carols, sponsored skydives, cycle challenges and the more traditional bake sales and fairs.

Exeter College celebrates best ever academic results

Today Exeter College is celebrating the achievement of exceptional A Level results, with this year’s students setting a new college record for achieving the very highest grades.

A record number of the top grades (A*, A, B) have been awarded to students at the college, with an incredible number - 57% achieving the very highest levels of achievement.

Apprentice Joe picks up carpentry award

Barratt Homes apprentice Joe Harris (19) is celebrating this week, after picking up a coveted carpentry accolade from Exeter College.

Exeter College celebrates record breaking year with 1,000th Apprentice

Exeter College is celebrating a record breaking year by celebrating welcoming their 1,000th apprentice.

The 1,000th Apprentice is Jordanna Broom who is a higher engineering apprentice at the University of Exeter. Jordanna enjoyed her initial engineering training and has decided to pursue her career through one of the college’s higher level apprenticeships.

Best ever results for Exeter College International Baccalaureate students

Exeter College students are celebrating after achieving the college's best ever International Baccalaureate (IB) results.

Five college students achieved 40+ points - the equivalent of five A Levels at A/A* - putting them in the top five to ten per cent of students in the entire world.

A third of the college’s IB students scored an impressive 36+ points, meaning that they achieved the very highest results, equivalent to more than 3 As at A Level. At the same time, students celebrated a remarkable 100 per cent pass rate.
