Exeter College is a finalist for the coveted title of ‘FE College of the Year’ in the national 2019 Tes FE Awards.

The most outstanding institutions and individuals that the FE sector has to offer have been recognised in the shortlist for the 2019 Tes (Times Educational Supplement) FE Awards.

As well as been shortlisted for the FE College of the Year title, the college is also a finalist for the professional services team of the year award.

Degree Level students at Exeter College celebrated their ‘Golden’ graduation in the magnificent setting of Exeter Cathedral.

Hundreds of guests, friends and family, came together to celebrate the graduation of more than 165 students from the college’s Centre for University Level Studies.

Students donned their gowns and caps to be awarded their degree level qualifications ranging from BA to Foundation Degrees, HNCs, HNDs in subjects ranging from photography to civil engineering.

Tributes paid to teenager after fatal crash

Tributes have been paid to a 16-year-old boy who has died following a serious collision in Exeter on Thursday [13 September].

Ben Davies, from Exeter, suffered life-threatening injuries after his bicycle was in collision with a silver Ford Fiesta at the junction of Tythe Barn Way and Pinn Lane around 7.15pm.

He was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital where he died from his injuries on Saturday morning [15 September] surrounded by his family; organs of the Exeter teenager were donated following his death.

Exeter College Plans to Open Exceptional £2.4 million Gym and ‘New York-style’ Dance Studio

Exeter College has unveiled ambitious plans to open an exceptional £2.4 million Gym and ‘New York’-style Dance Studio.

Alongside this development, new space for music technology, art and information technology will be created, transforming the space that had previously housed the previous gym and dance floor.

Exeter College celebrates its best ever set of academic results, again!

Exeter College is again celebrating its best ever set of academic A Level Results today - with students setting a new record for the number of the very highest results, well in excess of all national averages.

Students at the college from across Devon and beyond recorded exceptional results - a new college record of 61% of A Level students achieved the highest (A*, A, B) grades, well above the average in England of 52.7%.

Exeter College has been named national STEM FE College of the Year and has received a prestigious award celebrating excellence in teaching in STEM.

Exeter College, working in partnership with Devon County Council, has been awarded £60,000 by train operator Great Western Railway (GWR) to create a much improved pedestrian gateway to Exeter from St Davids station.

Exeter College’s @thirty-four fine dining teaching and learning restaurant has achieved a prestigious AA College Rosette Award.
