MP Takes A Level Economics Lesson

Sir Mel Stride, MP for Central Devon, and Shadow Chancellor visited Exeter College to speak to A-level Economics students about the UK economic landscape and his responsibility of holding the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves to account in Parliament.

During the visit, Mel toured the college and delivered a talk followed by a Q&A session, giving students studying economics the chance to hear directly from the Shadow Chancellor about economic policy, growth, and the challenges facing the UK economy.

Students look to turn Tik Tok videos into viral hits

Media students from Exeter College have been putting their social media skills to the test by creating a series of TikTok videos to be used by Devon and Cornwall Police.

As part of their course, the UAL Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology, students have been working with the force’s Corporate Communications and Engagement team to create the short social videos which will feature on Devon and Cornwall Police’s new TikTok channel.
