Shaun the Sheep, the beloved stop-motion character created by Aardman, is celebrating 30 years since his debut in Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave (1995). To mark this milestone, Aardman has launched a global crafting campaign called ‘Can Ewe Knit It?’, inviting fans and crafters worldwide to knit or crochet Shaun-inspired woollen blanket squares.

Devon and Torbay libraries are set to burst with colour, sound, and imagination this autumn as Libraries Unlimited unveils its exciting new programme, running from 1st August to 31st October, under the vibrant theme ‘Get Creating’.
Far from the quiet spaces of the past, libraries will host everything from craft workshops and discos to live theatre and concerts. Visitors can learn to make musical instruments, explore bugs, build fantasy houses, or create watercolours, mosaics and screen-prints—all within their local library.
A powerful and uplifting art exhibition titled ‘This City We Live In’ is now open to the public at CoLab Exeter, running from 24 July to 16 September 2025.
The exhibition is free to visit Monday to Friday, 10am–1pm and 2pm–4pm, at Wat Tyler House, 3 King William Street, Exeter, EX4 6PD.
The exhibition features artwork created by people supported by local charities Julian House and CoLab through a creative group called CoLab Creativity. The group is funded by the Urban Learning Academy (ULA) via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
