Christmas Bake-along with British Bake Off finalist Jane Beedle

Kent-based charity Tree of Hope is holding a festive online Bake-along with Bake Off Series 7 finalist Jane Beedle, who also won the Christmas Bake Off special in 2018.

Jane, who lives in Faversham, has supported Tree of Hope for several years with The Cook Book, a Summer bake-along and other fundraising events.

Bake-Off comes to Exeter Community Hospital!

Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust (NDHT) staff in the Poltimore Building at Exeter Community Hospital held a bake-off, cake sale and raffle for staff yesterday, to raise money for Force Cancer Centre in Exeter.

Budding Mary Berrys baked a variety of cakes to raise money, such as lemon drizzles, chocolate cakes and fruit cakes.

The Lord Mayor of Exeter, Cynthia Thompson, attended and judged the bake-off, along with Zoe Harris, NDHT priority services manager.

The Great Bovey Bake Off

Home bakers from Bovey Tracey and around Devon will be competing in the Great Bovey Bake Off.

As part of Bovey’s Nourish Festival of food, craft and music, local bakers are invited to enter the competition, which has grown in popularity over the last three years since it started.

Disability charity, St Loye’s Foundation, will take their fundraising efforts to the next level with a team building corporate bake off event in April 2016.

LHC cook up £1,000 donation for charity

LHC Architecture + Urbanism have raised more than £1,000 for one of their chosen charities of the year by hosting their very own Bake Off contests.

Following weeks of fierce competition between the team of architects and urban designers at the Exeter and Plymouth studios, LHC cooked up a special surprise for staff at the Kidney Research shop in Exeter and handed over an impressive cheque.

Lego cakes launch fundraising bake-off

Big thanks to Debbie from Mad Cakes for launching our Big Devon Bake Off – she popped into our Exeter hospice with these amazing Lego cakes!

Our Hospiscare staff and volunteers enjoyed tucking into these cute little fellas raising £26, which is the first money in our Bake Off kitty.

Debbie also gave cakes to our friends and colleagues at the RD&E Bramble children’s ward; we’re based at Dryden Road, opposite the RD&E. Mad Cakes will be hosting a Hospiscare bake off for children later in the summer, keep an eye on our website for an update: www.hospiscare.co.uk...

The launch of the Hospiscare Great Devon Bake Off 2015 takes place at Otter Nurseries’ restaurant in Ottery St Mary on Wednesday 13 May from 6.30 to 8pm ‒ and everyone is welcome.

Hospiscare is looking for bakers from East Devon, Exeter and Mid Devon ‒ including individuals and organisations ‒ to take part in this year’s fundraiser by organising baking competitions or hosting a tea party or coffee morning during the ‘Bake Off , week which this year is September 12 – 20.

The first ever Renewable Energy Bake Off is being held to celebrate renewable energy and delicious baked goods.
