A microlight crash which occured in Colyton yesterday has resulted in a fatality.
Devon and Cornwall Police have today confirmed that the aircraft crash, in which two people were on board, resulted in one man being pronounced as dead.

At approximately 3.40pm on Tuesday 15 April, police were called to a road traffic collision near to the Retreat Drive in Topsham to reports that a motorcyclist had been in collision with a car. Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Seaton which left an elderly pedestrian with serious injuries. Emergency services were called to Harbour Road around 10.50am yesterday morning (23 March) after a Mercedes car was in collision with an 89-year-old woman near to the junction with Bay Court.

Heavy fog is casuing delays on the M5 between Exminster and Exeter this morning.
The met office has issued a yellow weather warning predicting the fog to remain for much of the morning.
The Met Office's Chief Forecaster said: "Fog patches will affect some parts of the yellow area as early as Monday evening. However, there is potential for fog to become more widespread overnight and into Tuesday morning. Some places within the yellow area will not see fog, but where it forms it could be locally dense with visibility falling below 200 metres.
A ninth body has been recovered from the wreckage of the Clutha pub in Glasgow which was crashed into by a helicopter on Friday night. Police have said that they cannot rule out the possibility of more bodies being found as they continue to clear the scene. Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information after a white van collided with an eight-year-old boy in Moretonhampstead and then failed to stop.
The incident took place at around 4.10pm on Wednesday, 18 September 2013 on a narrow country lane between the village of North Bovey and Moretonhamstead.
The van collided with the boy as it passed him and his two siblings in the lane but left the scene without stopping.
The boy sustained a fractured leg.
It is possible that the van in question had signwriting and a flourescent stripe on the side.
Police were called to the A38 at Kennford, Exeter just before 6.30am today (Thursday 22 August) after two vans were involved in a collision. The incident happened in the outside lane at the bottom of Telegraph Hill, just before Splatford Split on the southbound carriageway heading towards Newton Abbot. The outside lane was blocked and Highways are dealing with this. The ambulance service were called to treat minor injuries. The vans involved were a white Renault Trafic van registered to Slough and white Mercedes Sprinter van registered to Bristol.
