Two people are in a serious condition in hospital, one critical, following an incident which closed the A30 in both directions early on Sunday morning. The road was blocked for twelve hours between the M5 at Junction 29, Exeter, and Daisy Mount Cross from around half past midnight. Two silver cars, a Vauxhall Astra and a Seat Altea are believed to have been travelling in opposite directions near Exeter Airport when they collided head-on.
