
Heavy fog disrupts Exeter travel
Heavy fog is casuing delays on the M5 between Exminster and Exeter this morning.
The met office has issued a yellow weather warning predicting the fog to remain for much of the morning.
The Met Office's Chief Forecaster said: "Fog patches will affect some parts of the yellow area as early as Monday evening. However, there is potential for fog to become more widespread overnight and into Tuesday morning. Some places within the yellow area will not see fog, but where it forms it could be locally dense with visibility falling below 200 metres.
"The fog may be slow to clear on Tuesday in some places, especially across the east of the warning area [Dorset]"
Several of Exeter's traffic lights have failed this morning seeing delays in areas around slow traffic on A3015 Magdalen Street in Exeter at the B3212 Magdalen Street junction and at the Barnfield Road junction.
An accident involving car and cyclist on Blackboy Road in Exeter has left the road partially blocked around the Jesmond Road junction.
The cyclist a 24 year-old male was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
