Devon and Cornwall Police has received reports relating to a professionally run national scam.
This has led to many vulnerable people, who are often elderly, being ruthlessly defrauded out of thousands of pounds.

Criminals will have an extra problem to contend with soon after Devon and Cornwall Police's 'A' litter puppies, Axel and ‘Arry, completed their police dog training courses.
Along with their fellow trainees Charlie and Jack, the two police dog graduates attended a special pooch passing out parade.
The parade included a skills display given by the dogs who were graduating and their handlers which included an agility course and chasing down and restraining ‘baddies’.
A presentation and the formal passing out parade then took place, in front of friends and families of...

Stress is known to shrink areas of the brain that are responsible of your mood, memory, and learning; ultimately making you feel older.
2) Remember that you are not in college anymore, and it isn’t healthy to have little sleep on a daily basis. You are...

The season continues into the autumn in the Vintage Sundays strand, with a new...

A new book, Jerusalem Unbound, plots the history and examines the underlying factors that make a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians so difficult.
Written by Professor Mick Dumper, a University of Exeter politics expert with over 25 years of experience of Jerusalem, the book explores why religious property in ethnically mixed cities attract conflict and argues that holy sites are particularly difficult in peace negotiations as they cannot be exchanged or traded like other properties. It also compares Jerusalem with other divided cities like Belfast and Beirut and...
