Exeter Chiefs is celebrating 20 years of support from the same sponsor by sporting a new logo on the first team’s playing shirt and training kit.

Exeter Deaf Academy’s College students and staff will return in September to a refreshed entrance, thanks to the help of Michelmores LLP.

A trusty team of 5 volunteers from the law firm’s Exeter-based office spent the day at the Deaf Academy recently. Battling soaring temperatures, the team were kitted out by a generous donation of painting materials from B&Q in Exeter, and did an excellent job repainting and revitalising the Academy’s College entrance.

Exeter Chiefs head coach Rob Baxter insists things are starting to "crank up" in terms of squad preparation ahead of the new 2014/15 season.

The annual, much anticipated, Dawlish Air Show will take place for the tenth time this August.

The award winning air show attracts over 80,000 people each year who are keen to bask in the glory of the coastline and enjoy the spectacular displays.

Dad's Taxi Service – the famously free lift home regularly exploited by the UK’s teenagers – is now mostly driven by mum, new research has revealed.

Almost six out of 10 rides in ‘Dad’s Taxi’ (58%) are now taken with the nation’s mums at the wheel, according to a UK study by laundry experts Dr Beckmann, which involved a poll of 2,000 mums across their customer database in June 2014.
