Footsbarn Travelling Theatre present Cuckoo’s Nest

Following their spectacular Indian Tempest in 2012 we're delighted to welcome back one of the most thrilling and influential theatre companies to emerge out of the South West.

Tickling your imagination and touching your heart, Footsbarn Travelling Theatre bring their own joyful twist to Ken Kesey's cult novel, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Set in a psychiatric hospital, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest is touching, inspiring and a timeless criticism of authority. Footsbarn's Cuckoo's Nest will be a uniquely different adaptation of this literary and big screen classic, combining the original book's powerful narrative with the world-leading company's uniquely comic slant.

During its colourful 43-year history, Footsbarn Travelling Theatre has travelled the world, bringing together a truly diverse group of performers. Prepare to be enthralled as their talents enrich this timeless tale in a theatrical performance like no other.
