The Make a Difference campaign was launched to link up those in need of help with those who can provide it.

Make a Difference has already helped get essential items to a terminally ill father of three, find a lift to work for an NHS worker whose car had broken down and stopped a man from getting evicted from his home.

Meanwhile from today the BBC’s local radio...

Donkeys have a spring in their step

A herd of donkeys had a spring in their step this week, as they were let out into their summer grazing fields for the first time this year.

Donkey-facing staff at the international animal welfare charity, The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth, Devon have been working hard to make sure the resident donkeys continue to receive the highest level of care during these challenging times.

This week’s sunshine was the perfect time to open the gates and let them run free. The donkeys needed no encouragement to kick up their heels, roll and run as they let off steam and enjoyed the...

Rob Baxter insists Ben Moon is already delivering on the promises he made when he penned his new contract with the Exeter Chiefs.

The long-serving England international this week became the latest Chief to pledge his future to the Devon club, agreeing terms on a new long-term deal at Sandy Park.

Before penning that contract though, Director of Rugby Baxter was keen to gauge just where the 30-year-old envisaged his career going over the next few years.

Baxter said: “I don’t mind telling you, it’s the biggest question that goes through my mind every time I re-sign...

For most routes this means a Sunday timetable with additional early morning journeys to allow key workers to commute. These special timetables will run Mondays to Saturdays with majority then operating a normal Sunday service.

Stagecoach are continuing to...

The list of those Championship originals is slowly dwindling, but at least one name will continue for a few years yet, after it was confirmed prop Ben Moon has signed a new long-term contract with the Exeter Chiefs.

Moon follows fellow front-row forward and England international Harry Williams in committing his future to the Devon club.

A product of the club’s highly-successful Academy set-up, 30-year-old Moon has been at the heart of Exeter’s rise in recent years, initially helping the club out of English rugby’s second tier in 2010 – to now establishing themselves as a...
