Exeter Uni celebrates summer graduation

A Lord, a Nobel Prize winner, a BAFTA winning playwright and a European athletics gold medallist will be amongst those honoured at the University of Exeter’s summer graduation this year.

In total, 15 special guests will receive an Honorary Degree and the CSM Trust will be inducted into the College of Benefactors as part of the celebrations at the Streatham campus in Exeter and in Truro Cathedral for the Penryn Campus in Cornwall.

Chair appointed to lead Devon’s libraries

Experienced local leader Julie Dent has been appointed to chair the new independent organisation being set up to run the county’s library service. Cranbrook homes to trial smart home heating

The Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) has awarded a £598,860 grant to PassivSystems to develop a new heating platform with WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff that will lead to a reduction in energy demand, heat network operating costs and, ultimately, cut consumer heating bills.
