Princesshay launches free recruitment service

Princesshay is offering a free recruitment service to its occupiers.

‘Recruit Princesshay’ is an initiative developed by The Crown Estate to place skilled candidates into positions within Princesshay as well as the surrounding area.

The free service will be introduced this spring and will welcome Hannah Latty, a Workplace Co-ordinator who will deliver the service. Hannah will arrange visits with local businesses in order to understand the current and future recruitment needs of the organisation.

Could the global market turmoil impact South West M&A deals?

Will a possible Brexit, the slowdown in China, and a tumbling oil price have an impact on the deals market in the South West?

The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital has signed up to two high profile projects which cement its commitment to improving the experience of patients with Dementia and their families when in hospital.

The RD&E has just become the 40th member of the Exeter Dementia Action Alliance, a local organisation working towards making Exeter a dementia friendly city.

Exeter Northcott Theatre has announced a new programme of shows that will take place at The Great Hall on the University of Exeter’s Streatham campus.

Extending the range of work that is presented by the theatre, the new shows announced include 10cc in Concert, Jimmy Osmond in Concert, YolanDa Brown and Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams and Chinese State Circus.

Increase in animals needing help in the SW

Figures released today (23 March) by the RSPCA reveal that people being convicted for cruelty in many areas of the South West is on the rise, whilst the number of animals being rescued is also increasing across the region.

A396 near Cove to open under traffic control

Early morning commuters will be able to use the A396, north of Cove, Tiverton, every day from the end of this week until the completion of road works in May.

The round-the-clock closure of the A396 to enable a new safety barrier to be built, is scheduled to come to an end on Thursday evening, March 24th.

Allotment waiting lists slashed in Exeter

The number of people waiting for an allotment in Exeter has been dramatically reduced from 804 last summer to just 131 in February, the City Council has revealed.

The reduction has been due to a quicker turnaround of vacant sites and the dividing up of plots to make them more manageable for first-time growers.
