Pop icons Westlife have announced a huge cinema spectacular for Summer 2022, with their massive sold-out concert at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London being broadcast live via satellite into cinemas across the UK on Saturday 6th August.

The UK’s biggest-selling album group of the 21st century, Westlife will perform at the legendary stadium for the very first time in front of a sold out audience.

Exeter Living Award winners Boo To A Goose Theatre, start a tour of Devon libraries this Easter with their latest show: Shipwreck Sam - Return to Dead Ghost Island.

Expect pirates, puppetry, sea shanties and hornpipes as the audience are trained up as the ship’s crew. Bonny Betty, named after her grandma’s ship, takes on terrible naughty pirate, Big Bill Bucketbelly, in a race to recover her grandma’s buried treasure (with the children’s help of course).

Ned Boulting, ITV’s lead Tour de France commentator, will be returning to Exeter’s Corn Exchange on Friday 14th October with his one-man stage show to provide a fresh assault on your cycling senses.

The cunningly entitled “Re-Tour de Ned” is an indispensable theatrical road map for anyone aspiring to wear the yellow jersey on the Champs Elysées: a really very rough guide to the tactics (pedal faster) and challenges (not pedalling fast enough) which will need to be deployed to win the biggest bike race in the world.

Government Ministers attended a virtual tour of Exeter College as part of their plans to continue the gradual reopening of schools and colleges in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
