Family Fun Bike Ride to Escot

Coinciding with the Tour of Britain, this family fun ride starts at Land of Canaan on 21 September at 11am with a ride to Escot park for a picnic lunch. Trained cyclists will be in attendance to help all ages and abilities, with the aim to be active and safe.

Wasted: Gallery Tour

Tree Walk

Imagine that fifteen women gather. They have a conversation that maps eight geographic arteries across England and Wales, like points on a compass. These arteries reach out towards a singular destination like roots forming a tree. The destination is Hyde Park. At Land’s End, a group of women start putting one foot in front of the other. For them there is no going back. It’s June 1913 and the Great Suffrage Pilgrimage begins.

Le Tour - an innovative new running event for Exeter

Ironbridge Runner Events and City Runs have teamed up to provide Exeter with a completely new running experience. Le Tour of Exeter takes elements from Le Tour de France to give participants the experience of 3 very different races.

Le Tour of Exeter will take place on 26, 27 and 28 July and is an inclusive event aimed at all standards of runner.

The first stage will be a 10k road race, fast, flat and traffic free, using the footpaths and cycle paths around the River Exe and flood relief channel.

Exeter theatre takes award-winning Bunnies to London

The Bike Shed Theatre in Exeter has been awarded Arts Council funding to tour to Bristol, Salisbury and London.

The award-winning play Bunnies – which will tour from the end of October – was written specially for the Bike Shed by young playwright Kieran Lynn. It was first performed in the Theatre last year and received a Peter Brook Empty Space Award.

The tour will help the Bike Shed develop links with other venues and national companies, raising their profile across the country.

Tales of Ten Cathedral Knights

Learn about the training and early life of a knight. Then visit the tombs and memorials of knights within the Cathedral, all of whom have strong connections with Devon, and hear their fascinating stories.
