Circle of Spears Productions are bring their acclaimed play WITCH to Torbay for the first time. Based on original witness evidence from a 1687 Dorset witch trial, WITCH examines the perils of being a woman alone in the early modern era. It's an emotive piece about witchcraft trials which contains neither a trial nor any witchcraft - instead it looks at the interpersonal relationships of those involved and focuses on the human story behind such accusations.

After the huge successes of Old Herbaceous and Fagin? Hampshire based theatre company Kick In The Head are back with a rip roaring barrel of fun, Three Men in a Boat, with Giles Shenton (Old Herbaceous himself!) playing the part of Jerome K Jerome. 

The play is based on the hilarious book by Jerome K. Jerome which, since its first publication in 1889, has never been out of print and is regarded as one of the funniest books ever written.

There’s only a few rehearsals left before the staging of the ever popular musical Les Misérables at Torquay Boys' Grammar School from 5-8 March, and it’s shaping up to be spine-tingling.

Once again, students from both the boys and girls schools have joined forces to make a huge and highly-talented cast to do this much-loved story justice.
