It started with a tweet... Signs for a Growing Community

Signs Express Exeter's Nick Baxter-Sibley was catching up on twitter when he noticed a ‘tweet for help’ – Montgomery Primary School were looking for help with a sign for their new Community Garden.

Sarah Vickery, Assistant Head at the school, takes up the story...

We have relished the opportunity to work...

Free microchipping for pets in Exeter

It's now compulsory that your dog should be micro chipped.

Statistics (we like statistics) show that there are around 1.8 million dogs not chipped which makes them untraceable if they go missing. You just need to look on this site www.doglost.co.uk to see how common and frequent dogs do go missing.

As well as dogs going missing we also get the occasional dog that's been dumped, again having it legally chipped will help us ID the animal and owner.

As a dog owner myself i wanted to hold a free micro chipping event for anyone (City Wide and beyond) who hasn't already...

Legal firm's donation boosts city charity project

AN ‘at risk’ charity project, which supports people with dementia, has moved a step closer to being saved, thanks to a donation from Exeter solicitors Cartridges Law. Developed in partnership by Age UK Exeter and Studio 36, the Budding Friends initiative provides a weekly allotment project through the spring and summer and art workshops for people living with dementia.

But cuts in funding have meant the organisers have had to turn to the public and local businesses for support. Cartridges Law, which has supported the initiative by providing exhibition space in their offices, near...
