On Thursday 10th November, Debenhams in Princesshay will be hosting its second annual Beauty event from 4pm to 9pm in store. The free event will be a beauty and fragrance extravaganza with make overs, beauty samples, exclusive gifts, discounts, bubbles and nibbles.

Concessions involved in the Beauty event include, Bare Minerals, Clinique, Chanel, Clarins, Dior, Lancôme, Estee Lauder, Benefit and Urban Decay. Police seek witness to incident in Exeter

Police in Exeter have released the image of a man they wish to identify as they believe he may have witnessed a crime in the City Centre.

Detective Constable Mark Nagle, said: “Just after midnight on Friday the 16th of September, we responded to reports of two men on bicycles in Bampfylde Street in Princesshay, Exeter acting in a threatening manner.

“One of these men was seen to point what was believed to be a handgun and threatened a passer-by.

“We managed to detain both suspects later that night and located an imitation firearm; these two men are now on police...

Excitement runs high for ‘City to Sea’ team challenge

On Saturday 3 September, a dedicated team of 11 staff from Princesshay shopping centre in Exeter will be competing in the tough ‘City to Sea’ marathon and ultramarathon to raise money for Exeter Deaf Academy.

City to Sea is a challenging 26.58 mile run or walk starting from Exeter’s historic quayside. The event, organised by Torbay Holiday Helpers Network, is an undulating route across rolling Devon countryside with the added challenge of timed checkpoints. It follows riverside paths, country lanes, woodland tracks and cliff top climbs finishing at Babbacombe Downs in Torquay....

Independent retailer, Insideout will be hosting a ‘Meet the Maker’ event showcasing some of the best local craft and design talent.

The event will take place on 10th September between 10.30am and 4.30pm outside the store in Bampfylde Lane, Princesshay. On Thursday 7th July guests came together for a VIP outdoor dining experience in Princesshay Square where they shared a veritable feast of tastes from Princesshay’s eclectic mix of 14 restaurants and cafes.

Public invited to view updated plans for £75m Princesshay extension

The Princesshay Partnership will be holding a public exhibition on 22 and 23 July to set out its detailed plans for a £75m leisure extension to Princesshay Shopping Centre.

The plans, which were given the go ahead by Exeter City Council in January 2016, would see part of the current bus and coach station site transformed into new restaurants, shops and a cinema, set within substantially revitalised public spaces, including an outdoor amphitheatre.

The Lord Mayor of Exeter, Cynthia Thompson, came to view the ‘Route 25’ JCB today (Monday 11th) at Princesshay Exeter.

This specially decorated JCB is visiting 25 towns and cities across the South West to help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), and is encouraging donations from the public following its theme: ‘Change for Life, Note the Difference’. New Goldsmiths store opens in Exeter

The new Goldsmiths store in Princesshay, Exeter was officially opened by Helen Rice, Store Manager today (Friday 13 May).

A special in-store event will take place on Saturday 21st May to celebrate the re-launch of the new showroom, with prosecco, canapés, mocktails and live entertainment throughout the afternoon, along with exclusive offers and prize giveaways.’

Opening plans revealed for Exeter's new Goldsmiths store

Goldsmiths, the UK’s largest luxury high street jeweller, is set to open its brand new store at Princesshay, High Street on Friday 13th May.
