Princesshay and Exeter BID are pleased to announce their support and commitment to the Exeter Dementia Action Alliance, a local organisation established in 2015.

The main aim of the alliance is to reduce the stigma and misconceptions of dementia by raising awareness in the Exeter community and for local businesses to consider their service provision for people living with dementia.

Get Kooky this Valentine’s Day in Princesshay

Princesshay has teamed up with KookyBooths this Valentine’s weekend to offer funky snaps for visitors.

The photo booth will be situated in Princesshay between 11am and 3pm on Saturday 13th February giving lovers, friends and families the chance to get fantastic snaps for free.

KookyBooths will be providing more than just smiley snaps on the day too. Visitors will also be able to record loving video messages in full HD, perfect for telling that special someone how you feel.

Age UK Exeter's fantastic year of fundraising

Princesshay and local charity, Age UK Exeter has raised over £22,000 since the launch of their charity partnership in January 2015.

Age UK Exeter is a local charity serving local people and is part of the Age UK family.

Each year Age UK Exeter connects with over 5,000 older people and directly supports over 1,000 older people every week. It delivers over 30 services and activities across the city weekly and is supported by over 280 volunteers.

Love is in the air in Princesshay this festive season.

Dylan Tucker (20) from Exeter proposed to his girlfriend Amber Knee (22) also from Exeter on Sunday 20th December, in the Princesshay Snow Globe.

Dylan and Amber first met on Valentine’s Day this year and soon knew they were meant to be together. Dylan’s original plan was to propose to Amber on Christmas Eve, but after seeing the snow globe in Princesshay, he knew this was the location for his big festive surprise.

School teams taking part in Exeter’s Young Enterprise enjoyed a busy Saturday last week in Princesshay by showcasing their entrepreneurial skills at the Young Enterprise Trade Show.

Young Enterprise is the UK’s leading charity that empowers young people to harness their personal and business skills.

School teams taking part in Exeter’s Young Enterprise are heading to Princesshay on Saturday 12th December from 10am – 4 pm to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and Christmas wares at the Young Enterprise Trade Show.

Exeter shoppers thanked for donations to charity appeal

Princesshay says a big thank you to its shoppers for donating to its British Heart Foundation (BHF) Bag It. Beat It. event helping the charity generate over 1 million bags of donated items.

The centre encouraged shoppers to give bags of unwanted items including clothes, CDs, DVDs and bric-à-brac.

The items now go on to be sold in local BHF shops helping to fund lifesaving heart research and raise awareness of the devastating effects a sudden heart disease diagnosis can have on an entire family.
