One of Exeter’s most successful networking groups for young professionals – Gilbert Stephens’ Young Professionals Network (YPN) – held informal drinks at the law firm’s Southernhay office just before Easter.
Back by popular demand, the Exeter Chamber’s Meet the Neighbours business lunch was held at Sandy Park Conference Centre on 26 February and was attended by more than 100 members of the business community. This was an increase in numbers on last year’s Meet the Neighbours lunch which saw over 80 people attend.
Delegates were treated to a two course lunch and had the opportunity to network and build new contacts in the business community as well as catch up with old friends.
Both Exeter and Somerset Chamber gave an update to attendees.
The Gilbert Stephens Young Professional’s Network raised a glass to celebrate the group’s 3rd birthday at Pebblebed Vineyards premises in Clyst St George, just outside Exeter.
Since its inception in 2010, the group has grown to over 170 members made up from a variety of businesses in Exeter and attendees enjoyed an evening of networking and wine tasting and a talk from Pebblebed’s owner, Geoff Bowen.
A group of local business people have been adding a new dimension to breakfast to raise much needed funds for Exeter Leukaemia Fund. The Honiton group of 4Networking used their fun fines system to fill an ELF collection box.
