With the news that Liam Sercombe will be out of action for a number of months, Exeter City have completed the signing of midfielder Mark Molesley following his release from AFC Bournemouth.

Further disruptions to Stagecoach services due to snow

Stagecoach have updated The Exeter Daily on further disruptions due to the bad weather.

Torquay: The seafront is currently closed to all traffic. All affected services are diverting via the ring road. North Devon: 155: From Exeter services are currently terminating at Tiverton. From Barnstaple services are terminating at South Molton. 315: Operating but with long delays. 21/21A: Still unable to serve Ilfracombe.

North Devon disruption to bus services

Stagecoach have sent the following message about services in North Devon...

Mullacott Cross is still closed to traffic and we are running the 21 service as far as Braunton. Ilfracombe should become accessible as the weather improves.

Combe Martin to Ilfracombe college buses have not operated this morning, with the College aware of this fact.

72 & 85: We are currently unable to serve Sheabbear, Pyeworthy etc.

70: We are currently unable to serve Weare Gifford.

155: We are currently experiencing delays on this service as the weather moves East....

World news: Police kill gunman who raped & kidnapped female student

Police have killed a gunman who abducted a female student on the Central Michigan University campus. According to alerts sent out on the campus at 12.20 am on thursday morning, a young female student was approached at gunpoint by a white male described as being between 20 and 30 years old.

Devon and Cornwall Police are reminding motorists to ‘think safety’ before setting out on the roads during the winter months.
