Mark Molesley steps into Exeter City squad

With the news that Liam Sercombe will be out of action for a number of months, Exeter City have completed the signing of midfielder Mark Molesley following his release from AFC Bournemouth.

Molesley, originally from West London, had been on the books at the Goldsands Stadium since 2008 when he joined on loan from Grays Athletic.  After featuring heavily in the latter half of the Cherries’ 2008/09 League 2 campaign, his deal became permanent that summer.  He has since spent spells on loan with Aldershot and Plymouth Argyle.

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale said: “Mark has always been a tough competitor whenever he’s played against us and will offer us an immediate solution to the void left by the absence of Liam on the right of midfield.  He will bring strength and knowhow to the team.”

Mark has been given the squad number 28 ahead of Saturday’s trip to face Bristol Rovers.
