Our event gives members of the public the rare chance to step into the shoes of a scientist in the NHS and explore careers at the cutting-edge of science.”

Through interactive challenges, you'll learn how biomedical scientists, genetic technologists and clinical scientists contribute to more than 70% of NHS diagnoses and help improve patient care every day.

At the event, attendees will have the chance to explore a mobile laboratory and experience processing a sample in virtual reality. Plus, create a genetics-inspired keyring or bracelet based on your hair colour and unravel the clues to solve a medical mystery with interactive challenges.
