A shfords has recently been appointed to the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) Advisory Board. Ashfords will be represented by Partner Brian Farrell and Senior Associate Jonathan Croley, from Ashfords LLP's Commercial and IP team.

The news follows the expansion of the board from 14 to 20, in order to better reflect the different aspects of developing, building and operating anaerobic digestion (AD) projects. Thousands of pounds of grants available for East Devon businesses

Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) funding for hundreds of East Devon businesses is waiting to be claimed before the deadline at the end of March. Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) will remain open until further notice.

The LRSG emergency coronavirus funding for firms will go back to the Treasury at the end of the month if it is not claimed.

As of 8th March, £14,649,070 has been paid by East Devon District Council in grants to local firms. £14,051,357 has been paid to businesses legally required to close and £597,713 has been paid to businesses which could remain...

A Group of Business and Management students from the University of Exeter have started the social enterprise 'Happy Carrot', which sells environmentally conscious products with the added aim of donating their profits to the Exeter Foodbank, a charity providing emergency food packages for families in need in the Exeter area.
