Devices and equipment have a certain lifespan and are expected to eventually break down. Boilers are one of them and it is haunting to know that once they do, you'll be left freezing cold. Charities in Exeter urged to bid for a £25,000 prize pot offered by insurance specialist

Charities in Exeter have a chance to win a share of a £25,000 prize pot offered by specialist charity insurer Ansvar’s Community Campaign.

Many good causes in the region have been struggling to raise funds during the pandemic and Ansvar, which has insured charities, churches and voluntary groups for more than 60 years, is offering help.

The money will be split three ways: £15,000 for the overall winner with £5,000 each going to two additional charities.

The competition opens on 10 May, the deadline for entries is 30 June and winners will be notified by 23 July....
