All-Mozart in March!

Exeter Philharmonic Choir is marking the month of March with a plethora of Ms for its spring concert in Exeter Cathedral. The Choir will be performing an all-Mozart programme with the London Mozart Players and an array of top soloists, including Devon-born rising star violinist Joel Munday. The main work is the Great Mass in C minor.

The combination of a top-flight UK orchestra, four young professional singers, a talented young violinist and the 100-strong sound of Exeter Philharmonic Choir in the Cathedral promises to create a very special evening.

Johnson announces retirement from Chiefs and the PWR

Exeter Chiefs Women’s No 8 Rachel Johnson has announced her intention to retire from the club and rugby in the PWR.

The USA Eagle is committed to the Pacific Four Series (PAC4) in May and Rugby World Cup in August and September later this year but will not be returning to the English league for the 2025/26 season.

Almost an original, as she began her Chiefs career in the January of the first season in the league, Johnson has gone on to play 64 times for the club while juggling international absences at the 2021 World Cup, PAC4 and WXV tournaments.

Immanuel Feyi-Waboso to Recover from Shoulder Surgery

Exeter Chiefs and England winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso will spend a couple of months on the sidelines having elected to have surgery on a shoulder injury.

The breakout international player – who is on one of England Rugby’s enhanced EPS contracts – suffered a shoulder dislocation in Chiefs’ Gallagher Premiership match against Sale Sharks in December 2024.
