The finance conscious Humphrey family from Silverton are in the running to be crowned Britain’s savviest, having been shortlisted in the annual money-saving advice competition, Nectar Savvy Family.
The family were selected, along with seven other finalists, from thousands of entrants, to keep a savvy blog for five weeks. A £660,000 improvement scheme to transform Exeter's Central Station forecourt has been given the green light.
Work is expected to start in August after Devon County Council's Cabinet approved a lease agreement at a meeting yesterday.
